Best of Fall/Winter 2012 Haute Couture

GIVENCHYYYYYYYYY BIITTCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!!
When i say this season was Couture i really mean COUTURE!!!!

From A(rmani) to V(ersace) every Couture designer did their damn thing and I've never seen Fall look so Bright and just simply Amazing...

Just because we Can't afford it, does not mean we can't look at it (And try it if you live in Paris, and if you do live in Paris please adopt me.)

Here's the best of Fall Couture 2012 (And my thoughts on them):

CHANEL:

Other than Lindsey Wixson closing the show in a Show-stopping dress there's not much to chanel... Karl needs to find some new inspiration but i did admire these three looks!

 ARMANI PRIVE:

I was REALLY amazed at how Futuristic this show was and how "Couture" it felt just looking at it. What i Admire about Armani Prive is that its always about the future and robotics but still holds that Classic Glamor that Armani is all about. (Karl take notes please...)

CHRISTIAN DIOR:

Raf Simons ... Where do i start with you?! Dior as we all know is all about that crazy amazing new look. and i did see it a little through the show but 70% of it was basic RTW material. I thought be Raf now being at dior that he would bring a much needed Hip new design to the table but John Galliano's work was much more "Couture" than this but i hope Raf's RTW is better. Maybe next time? (lets hope so)

ELIE SAAB:

Elie Saab as always is doing what he does always is always using Crystals and always using sheer and always using the same fabrics and always and always and always.....
If you gave me 5 Looks from his shows from 4 different years i will never be able to tell which year each look was made. Thats how repetitive his designs are. Elie let me introduce you to something called "Cotton" or "Silk" or even "Studs"... just a thought...

 IRIS VAN HERPEN:

Before my bestie (@Talleno1 on twitter) told me about this designer i would have never known her!
Iris is the modern mix between a young Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler <333
I absolutely love how innovative her designs are and how she uses unimaginable materials and turns them into Beautiful works of ART!

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER:

I just Adore how Jean is so Provocative and really expresses his designs in a way that NO OTHER designer can do! I wish Jean Paul was at Dior to teach Raf some lessons of Couture... Jean you literally made me clap for you after seeing your show! #RESPECT

ZUHAIR MURAD:

Zuhair Murad never seizes to amaze me. His work is always interesting and divine. (Elie Saab take notes heavily.)

VALENTINO:

Valentino was quite boring tbh... Well they did try new things but the collection was kind of expected. They need to step up their game.

VERSACE:

YESSS DONATELLA! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Versace knocked the ball out of the field with this show! Gianni and I are so proud of her work and its so reminiscent of the 90's. This is how to do vintage in a modern way. (Karl take notes again on another page)
The fabrics and hair and its all so seductive.
Donatella you get a A+!!!
